All my friends here in the States know that I am from the Czech Republic. I have lived in the United States for 20 years but return to visit my family and friends in the Czech Republic and in Poland once per year if possible.

I have friends and family in Czech and Poland that are currently housing and providing for approximately 80 Ukrainian refugees.(and more are still coming ) These refugees are not people known to them but rather are just people who have lost everything in the war by Russia. My family and friends, with their own very limited resources, have stepped up to help by providing room and board and a safe-haven to as many refugees as they can.

I know many of us in the United States want to help but are uncertain as to how our funds will get directly to the Ukraine people so desperately in need. I pledge to help these families who have lost so much by starting this Fundraising Campaign.

I am running the New York City Marathon in November 2022 and will be dedicating my run to the people of Ukraine as I proudly run the race in Blue and Yellow as a sign of solidarity.

Every dollar pledged to my NYC marathon campaign will be sent in its entirety to the Ukrainian refugees currently being housed by my family and friends. Every single cent will go directly to these Ukrainian families who have lost everything.

For those of you who would like to donate to these Ukrainian families and be assured it will be received by them, please donate to my Go Fund Me Page and know that it will be immediately sent to these refugees via my family and friends in Czech and Poland.
