I recently came to play football (soccer) here in Brazil. I live in the States and I'm planning on playing here for a while. We're in a professional club, but resources aren't the best. My teammates are all older than me and live a hard life here. They're all very humble and are here chasing a dream to make it to the bigger teams out here in Brazil. But there's one problem: many of them have families at home and need to send them money. Unfortunately, we aren't receiving money in this club since it's a smaller team. We also don't eat the best or have much variety. It's the same every day, but at least it's what we need as athletes. Since my teammates don't get paid to play here, they aren't able to buy snacks or food. They are all on very tight budgets. Me being from the States, I try and help with what I can because I know their struggle. But they are all very humble and don't want me to pay for some of their things. I find that crazy because to me it can be simply 4 dollars, but to them, it's 20, and they still refuse. So I decided to start this GoFundMe for them. Anything we raise, I'm going to be buying snacks for them and helping them with having a good time. Help them out, guys, we can do it!!
