Please help Snickers with her cancer diagnosis...

Hi everyone, this is so hard to type but Snickers and I need your help. Today Snickers was diagnosed with bone cancer in her back, left ankle. Since it is effecting her everyday life, and she has quickly become unable to walk on it, we are looking at leg amputation. Another extreme unfortunate to the cancer diagnosis, but this will somewhat help reduce any further spreading and avoid a potential fracture or break because it is deterioting her ankle bone.
If you know me I am not one to really ask for favors, but this particular surgery and the fees involved (anethesia, hospitalization, IVs, pain medication, etc) is quite high - a range estimated between $6,300-$7,200. After the surgery we then will discuss chemotherapy, which, again, is not cheap.
I rescued Snickers as a puppy in California when she was found with her two sisters and mom on the side of I5 freeway in the Sacramento area. I was working for a minor league baseball team at the time and it happened to be "Bark in the Park" night that evening. I went to the field to see the cute puppies running around, telling the rescue worker I have been wanting to adopt a dog, when Snickers ran towards me and jumped into my arms (where the Sacramento Bee snapped a picture and we were front page news). Snix is my homie and anyone who has ever met her has immediately fallen in love, or felt immeditaely violated by her nose straight to the crotch greeting. She is a huge lapdog that just wants to lay on top of you and cuddle (while snoring so insanely loud)!
I know there isn't a cure, but I want to do anything in my power to keep her around for as long as she'll let me. So that is why I am asking for some help with her surgery and chemo; because we all know Snix will be the cutest tripod ever!
Thank you to anyone who can help out in anyway, it truly means the world to us both!
