Please help show Veteran Butch he's not forgotten

My name's Cambri & I am trying to help my friend and Airforce Veteran Butch McBride. He's at the moment confined to his very uncomfortable and hard-to-move or even turn over in his hospital bed. He's suffering from years of arthritis pain & COPD. He had an electric massage recliner that afforded him the ability to move without so much pain & struggle. He was able to reach more things like his electronics and his little fridge that he was able to keep next to his chair. But this past week, he lost his chair due to maintenance in the Rehabilitation hospital and home looking at it because Butch told them it needed to be fixed because it wasn't reclining. So after they looked, they decided it wasn't worth fixing because they saw a leak, and they just threw it away. They didn't even give Butch a chance to find someone else that might fix it. So now he's in a bed that causes great discomfort and that he can't reach his things from. Unfortunately, the home he's in takes all of his Social Security except $50 a month they let him have for his essentials. We all know how expensive those things can be, and $50 for almost all of us is just not reasonable.
We'd like to be able to get Butch back his much-needed recliner and some extra funds so he can afford his essentials for even a little bit of time so he can get his dignity back. After working so long to help provide for our freedoms, I'm hoping it's not too much to ask for a little help to get us one step closer to getting him a new chair and a few extra dollars for the comforts we all try to enjoy and need like toiletries, snacks, and drinks for his little fridge. I know it doesn't sound like much, but this will truly be able to give him more comfort for his arthritis to be able to maneuver his pained body and to be able to sit up so he can breathe better with his COPD. He never even smoked one cigarette his whole life, yet he ended up with COPD anyway. We'd just like to prove to him that people do not forget their Veterans, even for the little things in life. He'd never be able to afford this on $50 a month. We know times are hard for everyone, so anything you can do, $10, $20, or even more would be so appreciated, and it truly is a life-changing donation. I wish I could do this without all of your help; asking is not easy, but I really want this for him. He's such a caring soul with all the faith in the world in people and Jesus. He worked hard in the Airforce for years, and now I just want to help give back to him. I need your kindness & donations to help make this wish come true.
