Help Sherín's family escape from Gaza

Hi, this is an urgent fundraiser on behalf of my friend and colleague Sherin Alsabbagh.

Sherin is from Gaza and is an Irish citizen. Her elderly mother Najwa and her brother Mohammed, his wife Doaa, and their 4 children, Abed Elkareem, Ritaj, little Najwa and Salsabeel live in Gaza. For the last three months they have been suffering unimaginably. They are now literally starving and have no water to drink or wash. Sherin is trying to raise enough money to pay for their crossing out of Gaza.

Sherin has lived in Ireland for 15 years and is an Irish citizen. She is an English language tutor and translator here in Co. Roscommon and I have known her for many years. She is desperate to save her mother and her brother's young family from more of this horror. Her mother is 73 and was a teacher. Her brother is an accountant and his wife is a geologist. Their children are between 6 and 17; the eldest had just started college in Gaza city when this invasion began. They are now all sleeping on the floor in Al Shifa hospital.

They were ordered to leave their home in Gaza City, near Al Shifa hospital, in October. They traveled South to Rafah, but Israel bombed there. So they went back to the East of Gaza, then had to escape there too. Now they are back where they started, but sleeping on the floor of the hospital. Nowhere in Gaza is safe.

Sherin's family do not want to migrate from Gaza but they want to live in peace. They are in immediate danger from bombs and bullets, as well as disease and starvation. They are desperate to get to safety. This fundraiser goes directly to Sherin who will use it to pay for the travel of her mother, brother, sister-in-law and their children.
