Please help Shannon and Novi recover from flood
Donation protected
A all time record 1-1000 year rainstorm deluged Ft Lauderdale FL on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. Up to 2 feet of rain fell in a short period of time, causing massive flash flooding, destroying scores of homes and automobiles throughout the region. Additionally, I was homeowners affected have lost nearly everything, including irreplaceable contents. Many will not have insurance due to lack of coverage for this generational rainfall/flood. You can read about the flood and see videos and pictures at the link below. https://www.miamiherald.com/news/weather-news/article274270200.html
1988 Marshall High School graduate Shannon Harinck and her fiancée Novi Filipovich i’ve been living in the heart of Fort Lauderdale, and unfortunately have had a complete loss from the flooding, including family and personal items, and mini miniature creations that Shannon has made as a hobby. They also care for him and have a huge heart for animals, who are also displaced by this event.
If you were able to help them at this time, please follow the link for the go fund me page. Hopefully enough money can be raised to carry them through the massive cleanup that will need to occur in the coming weeks.
I am Matt Davis, a high school classmate and friend of Shannon’s, and I have conducted a large number of these types of fundraisers for people in difficult situations. I will turn over 100% of any donation to shannon directly, however, if you would like to give directly to shannon, as soon as she is able, and in a safe location, I’m certain she will reply directly to you with an address of where you can send a payment, or perhaps a Venmo or PayPal
