Please help Shane's recovery

Two days ago, our brother and his friends were the victims of a violent gang attack in Melbourne's CBD. In an effort to defend his friends, Shane tried his best to fight off the attackers, however they were outnumbered and as a result Shane was beaten badly and had to be rushed to hospital.

At this stage, Shane is doing well given the circumstances, however he has some serious permanent injuries that will forever affect his ability to do his job and the thing he loves most: dancing and performing. If you are not already aware, Shane is a self-employed breakdancer and performer, but it is not just his job, it is his livelihood. This is a lot to have to come to terms with.

We have set up this fundraiser in an effort to help him with the living and medical expenses he will have during his recovery period. Although no amount of money can ever fix some of his injuries, it can help ease the pressure during this time when he is unable to work.

If you know Shane well, you know he is an incredibly generous and caring person who will always have your back. If you would like to leave a message of support for Shane, please do so. We will ensure he sees each and every one of them.

Lastly, if you know something or know of someone who does regarding this incident, please contact the police with your information. Gang violence is not okay and needs to stop.

Please share to help support Shane's cause.
