Please help Sevim’s kids

On March 12, 2020 Sevim Calisir was not at the bus stop to pick up her ten year daughter. When her daughter called me worried, I knew something was wrong. Sevim suffered a brain aneurysm at home. The brain bleed was so large that it also caused her to have multiple hemorrhagic strokes. Despite the surgeons best efforts to save her, the damage to her brain was too significant. Her family and friends were only able to be by her side after surgery for 4 days until the ICU closed its doors to all visitors. (covid 19) We had to get updates daily by phone and occasionally were able to FaceTime her depending on the nurse on shift. The doctors were concerned with her responses and not waking up after surgery. A few days after surgery Sevim started experiencing vaso spasms which is when the vessels in the brain narrow cutting off oxygen to the areas affected making the damage even worse. Everyday was a new battle and a new mix of emotions for all of us. The doctors told us that even if she woke up she would need to live in a facility because she would not be able to carry out the most basic tasks, requiring around the clock care. Sevim has three children. Her oldest daughter is 22 and working on a PA degree, her son is a serviceman in the US navy and her youngest is only ten. It was time to think about what Sevim would want, all these decisions were left to her 22 year old daughter. On April 2, 2020 Sevim went to be with her lord. It was the hardest three weeks of her friends and families lives. She was only 48 years old. She had so much life to live. She was a single mother who worked as a waitress to take care of her family. She was an AMAZING woman. She was my best friend. I’m looking for help for her children. Help with their living expenses and anything they may need. Anything will help.
