Hello! We are the Destination Imagination Team from Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio. Our team consists of 5 high school seniors, and we are excited to announce we have successfully qualified for Destination Imagination Global Finals 2023 in Kansas City, Missouri.

Destination Imagination (DI) is the largest creative problem-solving competition in the world. DI is an educational nonprofit dedicated to teaching students the skills needed to succeed in school, our careers, and more. We learn STEAM disciplines (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) and social entrepreneurship to help us through our process. We also develop life skills such as creative problem-solving, critical thinking, team building, risk-taking, project management, perseverance, self-confidence, and more.

We have spent all year writing our script, building our set, designing our costumes and rehearsing and preparing for our competitions in the Regional and State competitions. We earned first place at each event and were also awarded the prestigious Renaissance Award. This award recognizes extraordinary amounts of effort and preparation in their solutions or outstanding engineering, design, or performance skills. While the destination is creativity, these fellow travelers make the journey itself memorable.

Before we can attend the Global Championship, each team needs to pay a $5,500 registration fee. This fee is on top of food, lodging, and transportation that our families will support us with. As a team, we would truly appreciate it if you could help us reach our goal of $5,500 so that our team can attend and compete. It would mean the world to us to be able to go, and as this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, any size donation will be greatly appreciated.
