Please help send Kayli to Costa Rica

When Kayli-Ann came to me and asked if she could join her class and go to Costa Rica I was filled with mixed emotions! Of course I’m excited for her to have this adventure but it is nerve wracking sending my baby out into the world on her own. I know in my heart that this is a once in a life time experience and it is now my goal to move heaven and earth to make this trip a reality for Kayli!!

To make this trip happen, we plan to do fundraisers both privately and with the school as well as save as much as we can together!!

A note from Kayli:

I have many reasons for wanting to travel to Costa Rica! For starters, it’s an amazing experience as a young woman to go and learn about different cultures, languages, and how other family’s function outside of my household.

My whole life has been full of moving and exploring so this would be another great opportunity for me to go and be involved in a new community. I plan to bring home knowledge and experience that can be shared with the people around me to help make the world a little smaller.

This trip will help me gain cultural knowledge, language and communication skills, social skills, independence, and many other skills I can apply in my daily living and future. I can’t wait to experience what the world has to offer!
