Hello,
We are raising money to help offset the costs associated with traveling to Virginia this July for our 12u basketball team. We qualified for the AAU nationals in Hampton Virginia by winning our district championship May 4th. This is a big accomplishment for these boys and our city. They are a great group of kids whose ages range from 10-12yrs old. Their dedication and hard work propelled them to this point. So far we have been in four tournaments and won all four including two districts. As you know it is expensive to play travel ball and us as a team (including parents) make it work by doing local fundraisers to pay for tournaments throughout the year but this nationals trip is on a whole different level. It is a stay to play event so we can’t get a big rental home and split the costs. We have to stay in one of their hotels. It is a 4 day event so that is at least 700-900 dollars just to stay in a hotel. Some parents can’t get the time off and their kids are going to go with coaches or teammates. There isn’t anything bigger or better than to named an AAU national champion for kids this age and with your help we can possibly make this dream come true for these boys. Your donation will go directly to them. It will be evenly split for each teammate. No amount is too small because every cent counts in reaching their goal of competing in Nationals.
