Hello my name is SELINAH and here is my story that I choose to share. I identify with being a spiritual being having this human experience. I have lived in Florida for 25 years. I am a nurse, expressive artist, lay minister, singer and story teller. What I have the most passion for is inspiring others to express themselves through art and music . I worked for Tidewell hospice for 17 years as an expressive arts facilitator and music practitioner and experienced good health and physical vitality. Three years ago I was laid off from my position at hospice during Covid which left me with zero income, and was diagnosed with stage three colon cancer. I was blessed with so many family and friends helping me get through one of the most challenging times especially when you are fighting for your life. Through this support along with the grace of source, I came through the chemo, radiation, two major surgeries and last year a third hernia repair operation due to the tissue from previous surgeries not healing. I used gratitude list everyday and affirmed everyday for healing. I then started working a few hours a week for a beautiful place called Lily’s promise where I was creating art and singing with the five residents there. I love this work and they love being with me each visit , and they benefit greatly. Now to this past 2 years , my mother passed, one of my closest friends this year passed, and my son committed suicide in this past year and a half . I remember saying out loud my heart is broken and nine months ago in June I had a heart attack and had to have four stents put in my heart now at this time my main income was my social security. The very next month I had second heart attack and had to be back in hospital and have another stent in my heart. The following month I was hospitalized with uti which was my tenth urinary tract infection in one year due to my previous colon resection . Then I found out that my left kidney was only functioning 12 percent due to chemo and radiation. So back in the hospital for that and back again to have a drainage tube placed in left kidney. A month passed and back again hospital due to bad kidney infection due to the tube so my last ten months I was hospitalized a total of six times and was told to get pet scan so they can proceed with either removing kidney or placing a stent they found a spot on the kidney during a X-ray and wanted to check with pet scan .. on my way to get pet scan my car stopped running and I thankfully made it to a parking lot and had to ask strangers for a ride to the hospital for pet scan. I had two hundred dollars to my name and had to use 100.00 to have my car towed home and the pet scan showed legions in my lungs so not have to have biopsy to make sure what it is and I will affirm now that I am cancer free and it’s something else. So my friend Nora suggested starting a go fund me and my other friend Aron volunteered to create it for me . Through all of this I have stayed present and continue to affirm that no matter what it appears that I am now coming out the other side healthy, prosperous and living in joy . I have not been able to work due to hospitalizations and recently Covid .. I am now affirming that a car is manifesting , good health and peace in my life… thank you for taking your time to read this and much love
