Hi, my name is Kylie and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart.

Recently, my Mums beloved dog Scully was stolen from her home. After a couple of days of heartbreak and worry, she was finally returned to us—but not without serious consequences. We believe she was taken for breeding, and when the people responsible realised she was de sexed and no longer wanted her, they drove her close to home and threw her from the vehicle.

She survived, but suffered a bad fractured leg in the fall and now requires surgery to repair the damage and give her the chance to walk and run again—pain free. She has spent the day at the vet and surgery will go ahead next week. She has really bad gravel rash and they need this to heal as much as possible as the vets have concerns around infection. She is on very strong pain relief and in plaster till then.

Scully is more than a pet—she’s family. Her spirit is still strong, but she’s in a lot of pain, and we are doing everything we can to help her recover. Unfortunately, the cost of surgery, ongoing vet visits, medication, and rehabilitation is more than my mum can manage alone.

Police have also been notified of the incident
