Please Help Scott Fight Leukemia
Donation protected
Hi. My name is Scott Dalgleish, and I was recently diagnosed with a very rare Leukemia. I went into the Hospital for Sepsis, and was told within 3 days… that I had Cancer. I entered the Hospital on December 3rd, and was discharged on December 19th.
During my stay, I received very intensive treatment in order to fight the Sepsis (Blood Poisoning), in order to save my life. To make things worse, I had learned that due to my new Diagnosis of Leukemia, my White Blood Cell Count was at 1.5
A “Normal” Count is between 4.8 to 11. It was rough, but I survived thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, and everyone else in that Hospital. I then went through 5 Rounds of Chemotherapy. Unfortunately, I am going to have to receive at least two more Chemotherapy Treatments this month. My current Insurance doesn’t NOT cover this Treatment, nor my blood work, Oncologist Visits, Infectious Disease Specialist, or literally ANYTHING that is absolutely Critical to putting this Cancer into Remission.
I am humbled and embarrassed to ask for this help, but my life quite literally depends on this. A handful of Friends have helped me get to this point, of which I will forever be grateful for. I need the help. My new Health Insurance won’t kick in until February 1, 2022. Until then, It’s all on me. I have researched and used literally every program there is for help.
I have been out of work since the beginning of this, and won’t be back for a minimum of between 8 to 10 weeks. Disability is paying me $749 every two weeks. That pretty much takes care of the Medications, and that’s gone. I humbly ask you, if you can, for help. Anything helps. I write this with tears in my eyes, and a feeling that I can’t possibility describe in my heart.
Thank You for taking the time to read all of this, it means the World to me. I am truly grateful for you all.
