I found this dog in the woods while out riding my ATV. He is the sweetest little puppy. When I found him, he was covered in fleas/ticks, hair clumps, and had 4 puncture wounds on his body that were very infected and had maggots inside. I cleaned it up the best I could and took him to the vet this morning. Initial vet bill is between $4500-5k for him. Any help would be greatly appreciated. He’s currently being held overnight at the emergency vet. Will need a lot of ongoing treatments/medications/checkups that are going to cost a lot of money

current update

said he’s between 4-5 months old

12.8 pounds

103 temp fever

After further scans the leg isn’t fractured but is most likely has nerve damage to his front left leg

wounds are all infected and still had some maggots inside. We believe he was born in the wild and was attacked by either another dog or coyote. He Has been given pain medication and will be getting fluids/shots and debride the wounds. Will update in the morning. Thank you so much everyone for the donations it means a lot to me! I Want to give this pup a better life
