Please Help Save Our Baby Sammy (Chloe)

Donation protected
Today our world has come crashing down. Our little precious baby girl was struck by a car right in front of our eyes. I can’t even begin to describe how absolutely devastated we are.

We were just getting ready to go for our nightly walk, clipping on the harness in front of the door, when she sprinted with excitement. The harness clip did not latch correctly and she ran straight for the street.  We ran after her, calling her name! She was just so excited with the snow fall we got the night before. The car was traveling so fast and did not see her. The worst part is the car did not even stop. We were left so helpless but rushed her to the emergency veterinary hospital. Our poor little Sammy was in shock but smiling on the way there. The drive to the hospital was unimaginably long and the whole time I prayed that everything will be ok. She was taken into the icu and we waited impatiently for the outcome. We finally were informed that they were able to stabilize our Chloe. Outside of minor lacerations she has a severe fructure of her hip and leg and will require extensive surgery. The cost of Chloe’s care has quickly added up and the required surgery is out of our reach. Our baby girl is such a happy 11 month old Sammy. She deserves the best and definitely way more happy memories. I never ask for anything and would not be asking for help if we could make this happen. We exhausted all of our options. Called different vets asked for new estimates. I am begging you for help. Please, please, please help us save Chloe.

I understand that there are many Sammys and other animals in need but if you can, please help. All donations are greatly appreciated. Please donate via the gofundme page http://gf.me/u/nq56cy or directly to the vet. We are being referred to a specialist orthopedic surgeon after being told that our current vet does not feel confident preforming the surgery. We are on our way to the vet now to get everything ready for the surgery tomorrow at the new hospital. The treating hospital is Pieper Memorial 730 Randolph Road Middletown CT. http://www.piepermemorial.com/
