Please help save Ruger's life!

My name is Brandi Colbert, and I am trying to raise money for a member of our military whose family dog, Ruger, is very sick. Ruger was brought into the animal clinic where I work, and I instantly fell in love with this sweet boy.

Ruger has a wonderful family who struggles on military pay, and they are stationed here in Maryland far from family. I feel that God has put it on my heart to help them save their family pet. After all, our pets are our four-legged children!

When I spoke to Ruger's mom, this is what she had to say: "This is our sweet Ruger… Ruger was born on Aug 17th, 2022 (the same day my oldest baby was born) to a breeder in North Alabama. Ruger was a gift to our son from his uncle. He wanted his nephew to grow up with a best friend, and when he found out they had the same birthday, he knew it was meant to be. Ruger is a fan favorite in our home; he makes everything better. He's so gentle with our babies but loves to get a little rowdy when his dad walks in the door from work. He loves car rides and anything to chew on. When we found out our boy wasn’t as healthy as we thought, we were all devastated and honestly didn’t know what the next steps moving forward would be due to expenses. We have been so worried and hurt over the news of him being sick. We’ve watched him slowly become more tired and not as playful. It is truly breaking our hearts watching him go downhill."
