Hi, I'm Paul Sheldon, and I'm asking you to help save Pippa, our beloved canine companion, and her partner, Karma, who devotedly guard Willow-Witt Ranch to keep the goats and children safe. It’s easy to forget the vital relationship we share with these amazing guardians. The CREST teaches us all to appreciate and protect the air, soil, food, forests, and water that sustain us. But sometimes natural flows get out of balance.
Last week, Karma, our new Guardian Dog, who took Luna's place when Luna died of old age last year, began having seizures. Suzanne's quick action with an emergency trip to the vet saved Karma's life. The vet said it was some kind of neurotoxin! With an intravenous antidote, Karma's seizures lessened to shivering and tremors, and now she is almost back to normal, just shaking and needing assistance to get up.
Yesterday, Pippa also started having tremors. More quick action by Suzanne, getting her down the hill and to the vet faster, also seems to have saved Pippa's life.
But the emergency vet bills stand at $15,000 and may rise! This is more than our little local non-profit nature education group can handle.
Your generous donations will help The CREST nurse Pippa and Karma back to health.
Both dogs are now back in Suzanne's living room at Willow-Witt Ranch, seemingly on the mend.
Please join me in this collective effort to maintain our deeper connection with our beloved guardians. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact. Thank you for your support!
