Oakey Dokeys Pre-School is a registered charity, guided by a dedicated volunteer committee. Our children are aged from 2 years up until school age and our goal is to build confidence, independence and basic skills ready for the children to enter the big wide world

Oakey Dokeys established in 2004 and is located in Great Oakley, Essex, and has been developed by a brilliant and enthusiastic early years team. Its original purpose was to provide a childcare facility for the children of Great Oakley due to there being to available no pre-school or nursery in the village and they have now established into a thriving environment for children from the village and surrounding areas. We are still guided by the goals and aspirations of the original Oakey Dokeys, to be a small setting run by the local community for the local community and to provide a unique early years setting for your child to learn and grow.

Oakey Dokeys is now due some drastic upgrades due to the age of the facilities which have deteriorated over time, so some TLC is needed! Our outdoor play area is in need of some updating. We require our old playground surface to be removed and we will be laying down bark as this outdoor surface as this is a cost effective way and fits in well with the natural theme of our school. We will also be looking to add some new outdoor seating for the children.

We would love nothing more than for the children at Oakey Dokeys to have an Outdoor space where they can thrive, learn, play and have fun!
