My name is Iryna Prymachenko. I am a mother of three children and we also have two beloved cats. Recently, our cat became pregnant, and our whole family was excited to welcome the kittens.

Then the difficult moment came when she went into labor. Sadly, the first kitten did not survive. She tried to deliver the next kitten from 9 p.m. until 7 a.m., but it got stuck. She was in pain and kept trying, but nothing worked. Since it was the weekend, we didn’t know where to go right away. Early in the morning, we visited two clinics, and finally, we were advised to take her to an emergency veterinary hospital.

There, the doctors told us that an urgent C-section was needed because she could no longer deliver the kittens on her own. We were given an estimated bill of about 2200 CAD (attached in the photos). Of course, we had no choice but to leave her for surgery.

Now we are in despair because we don’t know how to pay this large amount. We were only given an approximate estimate, and in reality, the final cost may turn out to be even higher.

I am a mother of three daughters and unable to work due to health reasons. My husband is the only one working, covering all our family expenses.

That is why I am reaching out with this heartfelt request. Any contribution — even the smallest — would mean so much to us. This is the first time our family has faced a situation where we cannot manage the costs on our own.
