Teddy just turned one year old on November 19. He’s still a baby playful, loud, loving, full of energy, and the biggest cuddle bug in our home. We brought him home last December as a Christmas gift for my kids, and since that day he has brought nothing but joy, chaos, and pure love into our lives. He is truly part of our family.
Yesterday, Teddy suddenly woke up not being himself. He couldn’t get up, he wouldn’t play, and we knew something was terribly wrong. We rushed him to the animal hospital, and they found a serious blockage in his intestines. They attempted a procedure to help him, and even though it was extremely expensive, we went ahead with it hoping it would save him. It didn’t work. Now Teddy needs emergency life-saving surgery. I already paid for the hospital visit, X-rays, and bloodwork, and I applied for pet care credit but was denied. I barely slept last night watching him in pain and thinking about how I’m supposed to find the money to save him. My heart is breaking because Teddy hasn’t even had the chance to live his life yet.
We are devastated and desperate. Teddy is only a year old. He deserves to run, play, love, and keep growing with us. We’re asking for help anything at all to give him the surgery that could save his life. Sharing this with others can also make a difference. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading, sharing, donating, and helping us fight for Teddy.
