Please Help Save My Dad’s Life From a Brain Tumor
Donation protected
My name is Shakaira and I’m raising funds to help cover medical expenses for my father, Rohan Morris. He was recently diagnosed with a 7.4 cm brain mass on the left side of his brain. The CT scan showed bone destruction, severe swelling, and a midline shift. The doctors believe it may be a high-grade glioma and are pushing for emergency surgery.
I just came back from Jamaica and it was honestly one of the hardest things I’ve ever experienced. My dad is someone who loves to sing. He loves to cook. He’s always cracking jokes and making everyone laugh. But this time… he wasn’t himself. He was quiet. Disconnected. Confused. I could tell he was trying to hang on, but he just seemed lost. And it hurt so much to see him like that.
Since I’ve been back in the States I’ve been trying to advocate for him from afar. I’ve reached out to neurosurgeons for second opinions and I’m willing to pay out of pocket if I need to. But everything is piling up. Between the medical bills, travel, and trying to coordinate his care from a distance… it’s been a lot. Emotionally. Mentally. Financially.
If you know a neurosurgeon who may be willing to review his case, or if you’re able to donate or even just share this, it would mean the world to me. I’m doing everything I can to help my dad. But I can’t do it alone.
Thank you for reading this. And thank you for your support
