Please Help Save My Cat, "Fish"
Donation protected
Hi y'all,
My name is Cali, a senior at Stanford from San Diego, trying to raise some money for my baby cat "Fish" (and yes that's his name). Fish is a 2-year-old Nebulung cat and I got him at the Humane Society Rescue when he was just a baby. A couple of weeks ago, he began to have urinary issues, peeing in the sink and straining to urinate. We took him to urgent care twice and thought he was recovering, but ended up developing a urinary blockage. He needed to go to the hospital and is now in acute kidney failure. He has needed expensive xrays, multiple labs, and now has a urinary catheter and is on IV fluids.
He is expected to stay in the hospital up to 4 days. The cost estimate is between $5000 and $7000, and the price may go up, depending on how he responds to the treatment. The good news is that he was a young, healthy cat before all of this and has a fairly good chance at a full recovery.
Fish, our fancy man, is the light of me and my family's lives. As the older brother of 2 kittens, he means the world to them. He loves to sit on a warm lap, especially with a blanket, and watch the birds from his window.
I love Fishy so so much.
My family and I would appreciate any support you can in saving a member of our family.
Thank you!
