Please Help Save My Brother A Bin — Battling Kidney Failure, Paralysis, and Life-Threatening Illness
For the last 12 months, my brother, A Bin, has been battling severe kidney failure. He is currently paralyzed, unable to walk or care for himself. My 86-year-old mother has been his primary caretake, and the family has exhausted all savings trying to save him. He urgently needs ongoing ICU care, dialysis, and full-time nursing. Your support would mean the world to our family, and to help provide necessary medical care for my brother.
Medical History
Since last October, A Bin began to feel unwell, experiencing fatigue and weakness. He first sought treatment at a local traditional Chinese medicine hospital, but after more than a month, his condition worsened. He lost the ability to walk. The family then transferred him to Longyan Regional Hospital, the best hospital in the area. After a kidney and bone marrow biopsy, he was diagnosed with severe kidney failure in both kidneys.
Over the next eleven months, A Bin was transferred between several hospitals, but his condition continued to deteriorate.
He is currently in critical condition:
• End-stage kidney failure
• Paralyzed lower body and loss of bladder and bowel control
• Upper body weakness
• Unable to care for himself
• Severe pressure ulcers (bedsores)
• Recently discharged, but suffered a relapse of uremia and sepsis, and was rushed back to the ICU
He relies on dialysis, antibiotics, and 24-hour nursing care. Continuing ICU treatment requires costs beyond the family’s ability to pay. We are raising money on behalf of my mother and brother in order to help financially support them during this very difficult time. The money will go directly to paying for 24-hour nursing care and continuing dialysis and antibiotic treatments.
Every donation, every share, and every word of encouragement matters. Your kindness can help this mother and son through the darkest time of their lives.
Thank you for reading, sharing, and helping.
