Hi, my name is Brucina and I am fundraising for my dog that needs surgery. Her name is Milkshake and I adopted her from The Animal Foundation on October 1, 2017. Once we locked eyes, it was truly love at first sight. There was no way I wasn’t taking her home with me. I adopted her, but the truth is, she rescued me.

She wasn’t the average stray because she was beautifully groomed, knew all of her commands and never once had an accident in the house. Milkshake is my emotional support dog that provides therapeutic benefit through comfort and companionship. Not to mention, protection, loyalty, unconditional love and all the kisses one could hope for. You can’t take anything for granted. She is up to date with all of her vaccinations and vet visits. One would think that would be a sure sign of good health, but to my dismay, she recently became ill. She developed crystals in her urine so the vet put her on prescription food and antibiotics in hopes to dissolve them. Unfortunately, after a few months, the crystals have turned into stones and now surgery is the only option. With all of the expenses, my savings has been depleted. I am asking—no, I am begging…for a small donation to save my baby. Milky is only 8 years old and with your help, she will be able to live many more years. This illness has made a once vibrant dog lethargic, withdrawn and in pain. It is so sad to see Milky decline so rapidly.

We live in a crazy world where we have become victims of many scams. That being said, if need be, we will be happy to furnish you with the bill.
