Dear all, my name is Zuhair Hasanain. My sister and her family are currently trapped in the midst of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. I am reaching out to you in the hopes that you can extend a lifeline to my family in their darkest hour.

My sister Nabeela along with her husband Hassan and their six children, Ali, Ismail, Ahmad, Dalya, Mayar, and Kareem have faced unimaginable devastation. Their home in north Gaza was reduced to rubble, leaving them with nothing but despair.

To make matters worse, their youngest child Kareem was targeted and severely injured on his face. Without proper medical care, his wounds are deteriorating daily, and he needs urgent attention before they become infected.

In their desperate search for safety, my family has been forced to flee multiple times. They sought refuge with acquaintances in Deir al-Balah, only to witness another home being targeted by violence. When they found temporary shelter in Khan Younis, the army ordered yet another evacuation, pushing them further into danger in Rafah. Now, they're staying in a makeshift tent on the streets, stripped of the most basic necessities of life. For over six agonizing months, they've had to endure unimaginable suffering.

This innocent family is struggling to find food, stay warm, and simply survive each passing day. The scarcity of resources and the unsanitary conditions in the makeshift camps have led to the spread of diseases, making their existence even more challenging. Every moment is spent fearing for their lives as bombs and airstrikes threaten them.

We pray for mercy amidst the deafening roar of destruction that surrounds them. To secure the safety of my family and provide Kareem with the medical care he desperately needs, we require financial help. Besides medical costs, a big chunk of the money will be used to leave Gaza and cross the border into Egypt. Without these funds, they face the harrowing reality of hunger, homelessness, and the constant threat of violence. Our once vibrant lives have been reduced to a desperate struggle for survival, with no end in sight.
