I’m posting this on behalf of my best friend of 18 years in hopes we can save his puppy’s life.

Yesterday afternoon my best friend took his 5 month old puppy Kenji to their local park where they go everyday. Earlier the next morning my friend was woken up by Kenji crying in pain so they rushed him to the emergency vet. The vet found a foreign object lodged in his gut to which they believe could be a bbq skewer. In order to save Kenji’s life he requires emergency surgery which costs $7500 and I know this is an overwhelming financial cost that my friend cannot afford. I know how much his pets mean to him and his family, Kenji means the absolute world to him and it breaks my heart to see them both hurting at this difficult time.
