PLEASE help save Kylie

I am starting this fund to help with the expenses required to save my granddaughters life. Time is of the essence. She was born Nov 10, 2023 and has been in a NICU ever since. She has been diagnosed with a one in a million disease called Surfactant B deficiency. This is a disease of full-term newborn infants which leads to lethal respiratory failure within the first few months of life, with the only therapeutic option being lung transplantation.

A transfer/transplant team will be arriving this week to transfer Kylie from VCU NICU to Texas Childrens Hospital West Tower, Houston Texas to attempt to complete the procedure. The family (2 adults and 2 children) MUST move to Houston to be present with Kylie prior to, during, and following her medical treatment. This is a mandatory requirement by her medical team for the transplant to take place.

As you can guess this will be a financial challenge for the family to move and set up a new residence during this time frame, daily requirements to remain at the hospital during pre and post treatment. This requirement alone will prevent them from being employed thus leaving them with no source of income. They will need assistance to obtain housing, utilities, transportation costs, food and general expenses required for them meet the requirements to save their little baby.

Every bit will help and united with everyone reading this, we can get to the goal and do a little to help save this little girls life.
