My beloved dog, Kjera, is fighting for her life after accidentally ingesting Advil, which has led to severe kidney failure and seizures. She’s currently in the hospital receiving intensive care, and I’m doing everything I can to give her the best chance at survival. A few days ago, Kjera got into a bottle of Advil, which is extremely toxic to dogs, even in small amounts. Her kidneys are shutting down, and she has started experiencing seizures, which means the toxins are affecting her neurological system as well. She needs immediate and continuous medical care to have a fighting chance.

For Kjera to recover, right now it’s looking like she needs the following care:

• 24/7 Hospitalization: She is currently in a veterinary hospital receiving constant IV fluids to flush out the toxins and support her failing kidneys.

• Seizure Management & Medications: She is experiencing seizures due to the toxicity and is being treated with anti-seizure medications and neurological support.

• Bloodwork Monitoring: Frequent tests to check her kidney function and assess her neurological condition.

• Medications & Supportive Care: Including anti-nausea meds, stomach protectants, and potential dialysis if her kidneys don’t respond to initial treatment.

• Possible Extended Care: Depending on how she improves, she may need longer hospitalization and neurological observation.
