PLEASE Help Save Gwen’s Home

My name is Michael. I have been married to Gwen since 07/05/1974. She and I have suffered some tragic events since October 2017. We were served by process server with foreclosure proceedings. We retained an attorney and after 4 years, we lost the case and life savings fighting the court. September 21, 2018, I lost my job. On April 16, 2019, Gwen went to emergency for DVT (deep vein thrombosis). 2 weeks later, May 1, 2019, Gwen was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia. She went on short term disability and eventually long term disability. In March 2020 COVID-19 struck. January 2021, Gwen’s employer terminated her per company policy concerning disability. July 4, 2021 weekend, Gwen unexpectedly suffered a silent stroke. Her long term disability benefits terminated. She is now 80% invalid, yet gradually improving. July 6th, 2021, Gwen fell and damaged her left wrist. And now: January 7, 2022, we were served foreclosure proceedings and February 8, 2022, sheriff’s sale of our home and March 1 vacate date.

Unfortunately, we are in need of help. We have to give our 401K earnings and we are short $52K +fees. We have no heating and air and rely on space heaters and electric blankets at this time. I am 70 and Gwen is 69.

We are consciously aware of our Nation’s struggles and do our best to help those in need besides ourselves. Please help Gwen keep her home and joyful retirement.
