Please Help Save Grandma K

My friends, anyone out there who can help, My Mom, one of the greatest human beings I’ve ever known, is in the battle of her life. In 2013, she was in nursing school when she was diagnosed with breast cancer. Being the fighter that she is, she pushed through, became a hospice nurse and provided comfort to the terminally ill for several years. Unfortunately things have taken a turn for the worse in recent months. Shortly before her double mastectomy last weekend, we found that the cancer has become even more aggressive and has spread to many of her bones. The cost of the intensive treatments required to save her life is a huge burden and although we are managing as well as we can, the time has come to reach out for help. Karrene, my Mom, is a brilliant, kind woman who has always kept her home (and her kitchen) open, caring for and feeding anyone who happened to be in need, never asking for anything in return. She has brought so much love and good will into the world, and I’m hoping that the world will bring some her way, now. She is a loving wife, mother of four, grandmother of three (so far), an amazing nurse and a rock of her family. We have lost family members and friends to aggressive cancers in the past, so we know how quickly things can go badly. We need assistance as soon as possible to continue her treatments because my Mom is a fighter and NOT giving up! Please, if you have the means, any donation amount would be immensely appreciated.
