My name is Kateryna. I'm originally from the once-beautiful city of Mariupol in Ukraine, which has now been all but obliterated by the Russian army. Thankfully, my brother, sister-in-law, niece and nephew (ages 6 and 8)and brother’s mother-in-law recently escaped Mariupol.

They are still in Ukraine, but in a slightly safer region.

They have lost everything. Their homes and possessions have been destroyed. The port at which my brother worked no longer exists. Even the car in which they escaped Mariupol is severely damaged, after a run-in with an enormous crater on a bombed-out road.

I am raising money to purchase airline tickets to bring them all here and help them get started in their new lives
