Hi, my name is Jacqui, and I live in Brisbane, Australia. I have set up this Go Fund Me for Ayoub Raida who contacted me out of sheer desperation to save his family. Ayoub is aged 16 and lives with his six other family members including a 10yo brother who requires medical assistance, in a tent in Rafah. They have no way to fundraise (you can only set up a Go Fund Me from specific countries) - so I have helped set up this Go Fund me on his behalf. Due to Ayoub's age, all donations are going direct to his father, Omar. His Instagram handle is @ayoub_aburaida should you wish to contact him direct. THEIR STORY

Like many children, Ayoub has lived through six wars, the latest of which is the most devastating completely destroying the family’s home in Khan Yunis.

Until that time Ayoub’s father, Omar Raida aged 43 was an Engineer while his mother, Rabab Raida aged 37, cared for her children:

- 3 year old Asia

- 9 year old Al-Rahman

- 10 year old Mohammed who has severe Osteoporosis (requires wheelchair assistance) and requires medication and full time care

- 16 year old Ayoub who was studying at school and loved it

- 18 year old Ashraf who was close to finishing school and attending university.

Current the family is living with millions of other Palestinians in a tent in Rafah (the Industrial area, Tal Sultan). They urgently need food, water, safe shelter and medication for Mohammed. But ultimately their greatest wish to leave Gaza to Egypt where the family’s safety is assured. Sadly entry to Egypt is very expensive around $5000 USD ($7,800 AUD) per adult and $3000 USD ($4,600 AUD) per child. Our goal is raise enough funds for them to evacuate and get them through the next few months in Egypt.

Any contribution no matter how small will make a huge difference to a family who have lost everything.
