Please Help Save Ernie Boy!

My name is Deb & this little chap is Ernie Boy, my little 18 month old miniature Dachshund and absolute best friend. He’s currently in hospital needing urgent, life-saving surgery. The vet bills are already over £900, and tragically, insurance won’t cover it due to his condition being, “small dog/breed related issues.”

I’ve exhausted every option I have and am now able to cover the £900 that has already accrued since yesterday for an overnight stay last night, meds, scan, x-ray etc. However, we are now at a crossroads; either raise more money or ‘let him go’ in order to set him free from pain ! He really is so poorly, with a tummy full of fluid that just will not drain. His intestine and various other organs are under so much pressure.

Ernie means everything to me. He’s loving, loyal, and full of life… and at only 18 months old, he deserves a chance to keep living it. He came into my life by chance and I can’t prepare myself fully for that final “Goodbye, Sleep Tight’ just yet. I’m broken! At 61 years old, I feel his being with us has given our extended family so much joy.
