My cousins’ 5 years old daughter Erkeayim has been fighting an aggressive form of cancer for the past 3 years. She was diagnosed with stage 4 NEUROBLASTOMA. Over these three years she has gone through exhausting treatments. Initially, she was treated in the hospital in Turkey with seven rounds of chemotherapy, a bone marrow transplant surgery to remove the tumor, and radiation therapy. After being in remission for several months, the cancer returned in a much more aggressive form. The relapse spread to her brain, bone marrow and bones. In the same hospital she received four courses of high-dose chemotherapy with extremely painful side effects.
For the past year Erkeayim was treated in a specialized clinic in Barcelona, Spain. She is undergoing very intensive treatments that combine chemotherapy and immunotherapy. These treatments are extremely challenging and difficult for her to tolerate.
Erkeaiym needs to complete five more courses of combined chemotherapy and immunotherapy with very expensive medications. Doctors said that this treatment must not be stopped under any circumstances. The total cost of the treatment is €462,000. Unfortunately, my cousin with the help of our family cannot afford.
Today, I am reaching you out again. The treatments are extremely demanding. Without continued support Erkeaiym cannot fight this battle on her own. She has been able to continue her treatment for the past three years thanks to the kindness and generosity of compassionate people like you.
Please help to save my cousin’s only child.
