Please help me save my pup Emma. As many of you know, my pups are my world. I’ve gladly spoiled them with home cooking and given them the best life possible. Two months ago, my other dog Penny started losing weight and stopped eating. After multiple vet visits, fluids, medications, and tests, she was diagnosed with early stage 3 kidney disease - but she’s finally on the road to recovery. The exact day Penny started recovering, Emma got sick. Emma is my tank. She had never refused a meal or treat in her life. When she turned away from food for the first time, I actually thought she was having sympathy for Penny - I’ve heard that’s a thing. But when it continued, I knew something was wrong. I took her to the vet thinking it was simple gastritis. They gave us four different medications, but she still wouldn’t eat and kept declining. I stayed up with her all night last night hoping something would work. This morning I rushed her back to the vet. Her latest bloodwork revealed very serious kidney issues: something recently caused a sudden and severe decline in her kidney function. Emma is now hospitalized on IV fluids for 3 days to see if her kidneys will respond and recover. I spent every dime I had getting Penny well. Now I desperately need help for Emma’s emergency care. I’m a proud man who always takes care of the things I love, so this is very difficult to ask - but I humbly ask for your help today. If she responds to treatment, she could come home and have more time to be the goofball, playful tank she’s always been. If she doesn’t respond, I’ll face the hardest decision - but I’ll also know I did everything I could. Any amount helps. Even sharing this post helps. Please help me save my girl Emma.
