Please Help Save Cerberus's Life

This little sweetheart is called Cerberus aka My Main Man aka a million other nicknames that would overwhelm this post! Cerberus is 18 months old and I rescued him as a kitten who had been abandoned in a ditch by some horrible human. Anybody who knows me is well aware that my fur babies are my WORLD. They are family.
Cerberus has been hospitalized due to a severe illness known as Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP). Previously, this was an incurable and deadly illness for cats but there is a medication highly recommended by the veterinarians and disease specialists that is currently off-label but has shown a nearly 100% success rate at eliminating FIP. Since the medication is off-label, it is not covered by pet insurance.
I will not and cannot let my baby die. I am putting all of my efforts in to ensure that I can save his life. He was completely fine four days ago but his health rapidly deteriorated so I am doing everything I can to make sure he is safe & comfortable until I can get my hands on this medication. The vet says he could have days to weeks to live without the medication but the way I have seen his health declining, I do not believe he has much time. He went from a food-driven, cuddle bug always getting into shenanigans to being lethargic, refusing to eat, and suffering from a distended tummy. He has fluid build-up in his abdomen, a fever, and yellow plasma (that is meant to be white).
Please, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank all of you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Cerberus's Human xo
Edit:
Hello all! There is another brand of medical treatment that I have discovered which is approximately 1/2 of what I posted previously. A 168 day treatment will cost roughly $2500 which is way more feasible!
Again, Cerberus and I thank you ALL for your time, consideration, and donations :)
Edit:
Since Cerberus is a big kitty, the treatment cost has been confirmed at $4400.
Thank you so much for your love and support. Xo
