Help Save Bodhi’s Life
Hi friends,
This is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write, and I’m asking with a mix of hope, fear, and humility.
Bodhi is my heart. He’s my constant companion, my comfort on the hardest days, and the kind of soul who makes life better just by existing.
Recently, Bodhi was diagnosed with a mass on his spleen, and it needs to be surgically removed as soon as possible. His surgery is scheduled for Monday.
I’ll be honest—asking for help like this is incredibly hard for me. I’ve been here before, asking for help to save another dog I loved deeply, and heartbreakingly, that fight was lost. Carrying that experience makes this even harder, but it also makes me unwilling to give up when there’s still a chance.
Splenic masses in dogs are terrifying. About 70% can be malignant, which is scary to hear—but there is real hope. My veterinarian believes Bodhi is absolutely worth fighting for. She’s shared that 2 out of 3 of her patients who’ve had this surgery had the mass successfully removed and went on to recover. We won’t know what we’re dealing with until surgery, but doing nothing is not an option I can live with.
The surgery, diagnostics, and recovery come with overwhelming costs, and I can’t do this alone. If you’re able to donate, share this page, or even just send good thoughts Bodhi’s way, it truly means more than I can express.
Thank you for reading, for caring, and for helping me give Bodhi the chance he deserves. I’m fighting for him with everything I have.
