Ariana Kristina is the 18-year-old daughter of my friend, Natalija Kristiņa. I have known this family for many years. Ariana is kind, intelligent, and full of light and dreams — she should be focused on her future, not fighting for her life.
Today, her mother is once again forced to ask for help.
More than a year ago, Ariana was diagnosed with a severe illness. Since that day, every moment has been a fight. This disease has taken away her ability to live normally, to move freely, and to enjoy even the simplest parts of being young.
Last year, thanks to your support, Ariana was able to receive treatment. The doctors did everything they could, and because of them, she was given something priceless — time and hope.
But today, we are facing a devastating reality.
Ariana’s condition has worsened, and the treatment that once helped her is no longer effective. The doctors who have been caring for her have done everything possible, but they can no longer continue — there are no further options available for her there.
We refuse to give up on Ariana.
We have found a clinic abroad that is ready to take her and continue her treatment. This is her chance — a real chance to live. But the treatment is urgent and complex, requiring continuous therapy and expensive medications.
The cost is overwhelming: approximately €10,000 per month.
Right now, Ariana cannot walk. Watching your child lose strength day by day is something no parent should ever face. But we still believe — with everything we have — that with the right treatment, she can stand again, smile again, and have a future.
We are asking you to stand with us.
Every donation, no matter how small, brings Ariana closer to the treatment she desperately needs. And if you cannot donate, please share her story — your voice could reach someone who can help save her life.
Please help us give Ariana a chance to live.
Our Story
Ariana’s fight began in 2018, when she was just 10 years old. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor and underwent emergency surgery followed by radiation therapy. At the time, we all hoped the worst was behind her.
But in January 2025, the tumor returned — more aggressive than ever.
She underwent another surgery in February 2025, but the tumor could not be completely removed. It began to grow rapidly and spread.
Doctors in Latvia did everything they could, but they no longer had the equipment or resources needed to continue her treatment.
Thanks to the support of kind people, Ariana was able to receive surgery and specialized treatment abroad, which gave her precious time.
But now, the disease has returned again.
This is deeply heartbreaking. I have seen Natalija do everything a mother possibly can to save her child. I have witnessed Ariana’s strength and courage, even in moments of pain. I cannot stand by and do nothing.
That is why I am asking for your help.
Your donation will help:
Cover Ariana’s urgent treatment and therapy
Provide access to life-saving medical care not available locally
Support essential medications and ongoing care
Give this brave young girl a second chance at life.
