Hi… my name is Grace and I wish I was writing this to donate to a charity under happy circumstances but unfortunately I come to you with a sad story.

This afternoon, I heard my dog Alfie yelp and ran to him to see his leg dangling. He somehow got under the tire of the truck while it was slowly moving on the ranch and broke his right hind leg. He broke it right at the joint making it unlikely to heal with just a cast. Unfortunately, the joint needs fused in order to function. Fortunately he’ll be able to function as normal with that particular joint fused. Fusing the joint will require pins or a plate and major surgery costing anywhere from 5-7,000.

The initial emergency appt has already cost over $1400. If you’re able to donate anything to Alfie’s surgery, it would be greatly appreciated. He’s only a year and a half and has a long life ahead of him. I would love if he could have it with all four legs… I will do everything in my power to raise the $$. Though amputation is the cheaper option I don’t see it as an option for Mr. Alf.

Alfie has developed an extremely rare heart infection called endocarditis likely due to so many surgery’s for his leg…I come to you with an update but also asking for your help once again I’m afraid. I hate to ask but I’ve spent all I got and I’m already so invested in this guy not to much obviously I love him more than words can express… if anyone is in a position to send even a dollar, I would greatly appreciate it.
