I’m reaching out with a heavy heart on behalf of my cousin, Ahmed, who is facing the fight of his life. Just recently, he began his journey at university — full of hope, dreams, and excitement for the future. But those dreams were shattered when he was diagnosed with cancer.

He has bravely endured multiple rounds of chemotherapy, but sadly, the tumour has continued to grow. The doctors have now told us that his body can no longer handle any more chemotherapy treatments. This devastating news has left us with very few options.

The only chance Ahmed has right now is to undergo a major surgery to remove the tumour. This operation is urgent and could save his life — but it comes with a cost that is far beyond what his family can manage.
