Please help Saugat beat Blood Cancer

My Cousin, Saugat Dhungel (30 yr) was diagnosed with blood cancer 3 months ago.

He has been diagnosed with classical Hodgkin’s lymphoma (a rare blood cancer). Please note that Hodgkin’s lymphoma is very treatable and highly curable.

Currently, the cancer is spreading in his body rapidly and is damaging all his major organs. Saugat’s major organs are failing and the ever-lively man is becoming weak with every passing day. Saugat is the only earning member of his family. He is his aged mother and father’s only support.But without their sole breadwinner, Saugat’s ailing parents cannot afford their son’s costly treatment. All this has resulted in Saugat feeling negative in life and has lost all hope of survival.

Saugat has been suffering nosebleeds and ulcers inside the throat which make it extremely difficult for him to eat. He requires chemotherapy and immunotherapy urgently, however, the lack of funds has been a huge hindrance. Doctors will be conducting PET scans to assess his health.

He needs your support to continue with his further treatment and we hope you will keep supporting him as you have so far. You have been a constant ray of hope for him and we hope your kind souls can find it in their hearts to support him during these tough times.

It's very heartbreaking to see his aged parents desperately looking for financial support and having little hope that they can arrange to start the treatment.

“I had to take him to many hospitals. But wherever we went, his reports revealed nothing. This made me worry even more. What exactly was my son suffering from, I wondered. After a lot of effort, I finally managed to bring him to the Rajiv Gandhi cancer institute & research center, in Delhi, India. We received the shock of our lives after the doctors ran a biopsy on my son. Cancer was detected in his blood,” recalls Tara devi, Saugat's mother.

“I try to keep him happy. I joke around him and make him eat. I keep him motivated by telling him that everything will be fine. But I know my words mean nothing if he does not receive treatment on time. The doctors have said that my son needs chemotherapy along with an autologous stem cell transplant. With that, he needs immunotherapy as well for him to regain his strength. But how can I, an old lady, afford the huge cost of his treatment?” asks a wailing mother.
