PLEASE HELP Sassy girl FIGHT FIP

This fundraiser is for a rescue kitty named Sassy that was diagnosed with the Dry/Neuro form of FIP. Feline Infectious Peritonitis, a mutated form of the feline enteric coronavirus resulting in severe, generally fatal, systemic inflammatory disease. Sassy girl is one of the many kitties that I have rescued from a huge, very horrible disgusting property of run down abandoned housing in deplorable conditions that I have been working for over a year now. There are others still there that need medical attention that I hope to help before it is too late, but I need your help. Unfortunately there are some that sadly are no longer with us bc they didn't have access to treatment like Sassy girl was lucky enough to get just in time!

A wonderful rescue helped me to be able to get Sassy started on the GS-441524 treatment asap when she started to crash after she had already been hospitalized for a cpl days after her diagnosis. Even with IV fluids and vet care, she continued to decline, and that would of never been enough bc without the medication FIP is 100% fatal and she was dying. She had stopped eating completely, she got so weak she couldn't hold her head up or stand, and she was already juandiced so her organs had already started to shut down.

I immediately was able to start giving her injections 2x a day and within 24 hrs she had improved to where she was eating, had regained her strength back to walk, even jump and climb, and it was like she was back to normal as if it never happened. Though I still continued the injections 2x a day for about a week to make sure she was stable then I was able to drop down to only one injection a day. The tough part though, is the treatment has to continue for 84 days to try to prevent relapse and then hopefully she will be cleared to go into observation for another 84 days. In that time she needs to have a vet visit and bloodwork done every 30 days which she is now due for her first of 6. Her vet bills and treatment/medication "so far" is already over $4000 and with her only a month into her 84 days of treatment, we STILL REALLY NEED YOUR HELP! The medication is VERY expensive! The GS-441524 treatment is not yet FDA approved, and still considered experimental, yet available on the black market, and has been a life saving drug for her. When she started her first dose she was only 6.1 pounds. She has continued to gain weight, and today on day 35 she is now 7.4 pounds and doing great!!! I want her to continue to be well as she so deserves to fight the fight and live a longer life. We have come so far already, and anyone that knows anything about the treatment and has personal experience knows it is NOT easy to put it lightly! It can be very challenging physically and mentally giving the injections, and very much emotionally draining with her having to tolerate them everyday, BUT definitely worth it bc it is giving her the chance to live as every cat deserves that chance. So PLEASE.. PLEASE HELP ME to be able to continue getting her the treatment she needs. She deserves that chance as they all do.
