On Wednesday, 3/15/2023, Sarah was riding her motorcycle on US1 in Melbourne, FL. A woman in an SUV rolled through a stop sign and Sarah collided with her going 55mph, the speed limit in the area. She sustained massive injuries. Her pelvis was shattered, both arms from the elbows down were shattered, and there were multiple serious internal injuries. She was sent to Holmes Regional hospital, where she works 50-60 hrs a week as an ICU trauma nurse. She has had multiple emergency surgeries and is being sent to a speciality hospital in Orlando where they will attempt to rebuild her pelvis. Sarah is an extremely hard working single mother of 4. She is the most selfless, dedicated, and kind person I know. Her overall prognosis is unknown for now, but at the very least she faces an extremely long and difficult recovery.
