This is Sara; we have been chatting over Instagram for months now, since May 2024 sharing pictures and updates.

Her family lost everything when the war began: their home and all their possessions, including her two beloved cats, Toto and Sila. Sara and her extended family are currently living in a tent in Southern Gaza.

Sara is trying to raise $5000 USD per person so she and her brother Karim can pay to cross the Rafah Crossing from Gaza into Egypt for a better life. The rest of her family do not want to leave.

Sara had just completed her university degree in Ophthalmology two months before the war began, and her brother Kareem is in his fourth year of his Dentistry degree. Sara had just begun working with her brother and father in their family practice and has a dream of completing her Masters.

Hello

I’m Sara Ouda , 23 years old, from Gaza Strip, which has been subjected to genocide for 11 months since October 2023.

The death and destruction didn’t stop for a single moment. Every day that passed we’er losing one dream after another, until we have no dreams, no hopes, literally nothing! 

 I finished university a few months before the war started , and I had begun to practice post-graduation life, but it wasn’t long before the war took us by surprise, and destroyed all of our plans. My plans and hopes were scattered in the wind after I had looked forward to a bright future which I would achieve my ambitions and begin working to develop... 

This is my brother, a 21-year-old, an edged in his studies,He got a high outcome of his family to specialize in the field he was dreaming of, but was also overwhelmed, but did not hesitate to come up.  The war was devastating for all our plans,Including the plans of my brother Kareem. 

We currently live with my family in a tent, after our displacement from the north of Gaza to its south escaping death, which hasn’t stopped following us in every corner we land in, days go meaningless , so if we don’t die, then we’re definitely waiting for unknown future , devoid of... Dreams and hopes. 

Life has been completely disrupted. Our homes have been destroyed, including my home. we’ve lost all my memories and my whole life. 

We have nothing left but a tent that we may later leave it behind, fleeing to another place for the third time. 

 All that remained for us was to survive with our ambitions and our degree, which we finally decided to go out with it and my soul, searching for a safe spot outside gaza, to find ourselves in a safe life, and in a work that might support me and my family as much as possible. 

This message is my last hope. we will be grateful to everyone who contributes to help us leaving gaza and take us to safe land where we can breathe air that isn’t filled with the smell of blood and smoke from explosions. Thank you all.

This makes me need your support and help to obtain sufficient money to enable me to leave this genocide , as we cannot travel without paying a large sum of money to an exit coordinate , and survive with what is left of me, my ambition and my goals.

Paying the costs of Sara & Kareem safe exit from Gaza

The money will be sent from the Australia to Egypt through Western Union Money Transfer Company

Here are the details:

The family Exit from Gaza will be facilitated through secure communication and reservations with Ya Hala Company. This trusted entity coordinates safe exits for the people of Gaza to Egypt. This will be done for $5,000 USD for each person who will need $10,000 Sarah and Kareem.

Once the goal is reached and the amount is received directly from the donors, it will be transferred from Australia to Egypt via a Western Union, which specializes in secure money transfers.

It will provide them with a small, safe home and assist with their basic life necessities until the war's end, ensuring their comfort and safety.
