UPDATE!!

Today we took sapphire back to the vets who done a X-ray as her lungs didn’t sound good, they found a mass on her lung which is pressing on her trachea. They have sent the images over for specialist to look at and will get results soon of what the mass is. It’s really not looking good as she is an old girl, but at the moment is on a course of antibiotics to calm things down a bit.

our dog sapphire is almost 12 and the last few months have been extremely hard on her, she has had bronchitis which turned into pneumonia, we almost lost her. She has been on antibiotics and is on steroids daily as has a cough, this cough was the start of everything, the vet thinks she has a collapsed trachea which is treated with medication if caught early enough but she now needs a X-ray to confirm and then start her on her treatment. It’s breaking our hearts watching her decline day by day. Please please if you could spare just £1.00 it would help us.

We only have her on the lowest insurance policy as struggling to afford the more expensive one.
