Hello, My name is Melissa Cooke and I'm helping fundraise for my mother Sandra DeCrescenzo who lives in Port Chester, NY. Her house and two cars were destroyed in Hurricane Ida. Her and her husband Paul were in their house when water poured in and they were forced upstairs. It destroyed her childhood home. The home has been in her family since it was built after WWII, when her father came home as a solider and started a family. Ida not only took their home, but both of their cars as well. They are both retired and Sandy has medical issues. The money that is raised will go to the cost of rebuilding her home and getting her a car. We do not yet have any estimates for the damage.
