Please help save Sam’s leg!

Hi friends! Meet Sam, a one years old Yorki-Poo with so much resilience!

We took this boy in and saved him from being euthanized at a high kill shelter from the central valley. Sam was found as a stray (we believe he was dumped because he has trouble walking). Unfortunately, the shelter didn't have the budget for the surgery he needs so he was going to be euthanized. We couldn't let that happen once we knew about this.

Sam is such a sweetheart. Despite not being able to put full pressure on his hind right leg/hip, he is always still so happy all the time. He never stops wagging his tail! Currently he gets around by hopping on his other three legs. This boy is only 8lb, he is small but mighty. Sam LOVES every human being and animal. He is truly the definition of resilience.

After arriving to A Girl’s Best Friend Rescue, we brought him to out vet for x-rays and found out that he has a deformed hip and will require a FHO surgery. This is quite an expensive procedure but we found an amazing vet that is willing to help us and perform the surgery at a reduced cost. Lately our rescue has been hit with a lot of medical dogs and the vet bills are adding up. We really need the help. If Sam doesn’t get this surgery soon, there’s a chance that he will need to get his hind right leg amputated.

Sam is currently in the most loving foster home, getting spoiled and all the love. Please help us raise funds to get Sam his surgery! We can't wait for this boy to be running around on all four legs!
