Hello, I am writing this for a dear friend in dire need of financial help. Sally Beck and I sang together in a quartet called Ginger 'n Jazz. We competed and reached the highest level of International quartet singing and became International Champions back in the day. Once you reach the pinnacle of your dreams together, you become like sisters and no matter where life takes you, you are there for each other. We have already lost one sister- our beautiful lead singer, but now Sally, our lovely blonde baritone on the right end, is battling this same horrendous disease. I couldn't get a photo to load here, but could post a link, so I thought you might enjoy seeing Sally perform.

Sally was diagnosed with Stage IV Lung cancer and recently it has spread to her abdomen, back and now, her brain. Despite chemo, she continues to work P/T, although she had to quit her singing and directing--yes, she was still singing in a men's quartet and she had been directing a Sweet Adeline Chorus until recently! Sally is a fighter. I have never known anyone more resilient and positive, always laughing problems off and never feeling sorry for herself, always taking in animals and people and whatever it takes to help others out with a cheery smile!

Now I am hoping you can help me help Sally out. She and her hubby are about to lose their very modest, 800 sq ft home with 4 people, 3 cats and a dog! They can only make 1 more mortgage payment of $2,100 before all their savings and income are depleted.

We are asking if it is possible for you to help us raise at least 6 months of house payments, so they do not have to move in her very sick condition. (All the rent in the East is higher than this, anyway!)

If you can find it in your heart to give whatever you can--any amount is not too small and if you cannot, we thank you for reading this, saying a prayer if you are so inclined, and perhaps sharing this with some of your friends or as a post on social media.

Sally is not a stranger to cancer. She was full caretaker for her previous husband who passed from cancer. Sadly, it seems to hit us all at some time in our lives. Like one of the songs we used to sing, 'Prepare Ye the Way of the Lord', I thank you in advance, for helping Sally prepare for the difficult journey ahead by being able to remain in her own home, focusing on the positive and being very grateful for your help.
