This is Saber. She just turned eight and is truly one of the most special dogs anyone could ever meet. She’s been by my side through every chapter of my life since I was 19.

A little over two years ago, we unexpectedly lost her other half. The stress and anxiety from that loss showed in her drinking less water, refusing food, and anxiously marking everywhere. Unfortunately, this led to a severe urinary tract infection and the development of bladder stones.

Despite antibiotics and prescription diets, her condition has continued to worsen. Our vet has confirmed that Saber urgently needs a cystotomy surgery to remove the stones and relieve her pain. Because of her particular anatomy, the procedure is more complicated and costly, but it’s the only way to stop her suffering and give her a chance to live comfortably again. The longer we wait, the higher her risk for repeated infections and ongoing pain.

Watching her hurt has been devastating. We’re doing everything we can for her, but we can’t do it alone. If you’re able to donate or share, it would mean the world to us and help get our baby girl back to good health.
